KOKOMA - Do you want to be an entrepreneur? Online education for highly educated immigrants
Introduce your business idea and move towards entrepreneurship. The training includes written assignments, independent work online and group discussions. You will learn business vocabulary and present your business idea in Finnish. Additionally you get the tools, information and networks to start your own business.

Mode of implementation: Distance learning, online meetings on Mondays from 2pm to 4 pm and Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm,face-to-face meetings, group work, self-study
The scope of the course is 10 ECTS (1 ECTS is about 27 hours of student work) and it is mainly implemented online. The training includes written assignments, independent work online and group discussions. In addition the business vocabulary is practiced. The training will provide you with tools, information and networks to start your own business and you will practice how to present your business idea in Finnish.

Eligible applicants will take a pre-selection entrance exam which will be conducted through the Zoom Cloud Meeting program. The applicant will need an Internet connection, a webcam and a headset for the entrance exam. Applicants will be interviewed. During the interview, the educational background must be verified by presenting a certificate. In addition, a written assignment will be made to determine the applicants' knowledge of Finnish.
Invitations to the entrance examination and instructions for testing the audio and video connection will be sent by email by 4th October. Entrance exams will take place on the 25th October at latest. A link to the entrance exams will be emailed to each applicant.
Selected students will be notified by email by 18th October 2019 at the latest.
