The project promotes entrepreneurship among women in social and health care
Aims
To raise awareness and promote an entrepreneurial mindset among students, employees and un-employed in social and health care sector by joint model development and piloting of models for entrepreneurial teaching at universities.
To increase knowledge on entrepreneurship and improve entrepreneurial skills among students, employees and unemployed in social and health care sector.
To increase knowledge on the special conditions of entrepreneurship in social and health care.
LUAS is responsible partner for workpackage 4: Model development of Crossborder learning. It consists of two pilots. Pilot 1 "The modeling of the training process" concentrates on the model-ing and further development of the entrepreneurship training process developed by the faculty of social and health care of Lahti University of Applied Sciences. The pilot 2 "The co-operative so-ciety as a company form within the health care and social services", the training model of co-operative entrepreneurship is created.
Results
An increased level of positive attitudes towards entrepreneurship in social and health care in partner regions. Increased knowledge entrepreneurial skills and how to start business amongst target groups. Cross border learning for partner organisations on a shared problem and common solutions for the problem.
Benefits
The overall aim of the project is to contribute to increased competitiveness in the Central Baltic area and accelerate economic growth by promoting entrepreneurship in social and health sector.
