What is the Intensive Week about?
The Intensive Week is aimed for students interested in environmental issues with either technological or business background, who are particularly interested in how to combine business, technology and the environment.
The main themes of the Intensive Week are responsible business, life cycle thinking and environmental marketing. The one-week programme consists of workshops, excursions, lectures and social programme (e.g. sauna bathing, ice fishing and international dinner).
The group size will be about 40 students. Participating countries are for example Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Russia, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Finland. The course language is English.
The Intensive Week takes place in the Lahti University of Applied Sciences. Accommodation will be at Hotel Mustakissa located in the city centre of Lahti.
Credits
Whole program and preparatory work + presentation together are 3 ECTS.

Expenses
ACCOMMODATION 250 € (includes breakfasts and transportation during the week).
Other meals and travel to and from Lahti will be by individual arrangement.
No fee.

Registration deadline 31 January 2012.
