Further Education
Further education is based on the needs of clients and working life. Especially regional demand for education is met. The objective of further education is to strengthen vocational qualification and to ensure the development of it.
Further education in Physiotherapy: Short Courses
- Maitland level 2 A, some parts taught in English
- Other courses on different topics 1-5 days

Specialisation studies
Specialisation studies are further education programmes leading to professional higher degrees, or otherwise providing extensive education. The admission criteria are as a rule a Bachelor's degree, but often also work experience. The extent of specialisation studies at Lahti University of Applied Sciences is 30 ECTS credits. Usually the completion of the studies takes 1-1.5 years.

At Lahti University of Applied Sciences, you can also take complementary courses in addition to former vocational diploma studies, to obtain a Bachelor's degree.
