- Development of Competencies and Modules to Enhance Advanced Practice across Euro​pe for Health and Social Care Management Masters Students

Lahti University of Applied Sciences develops master level education in social and health care management together with three other European universities: Edinburgh Napier University (Scotland, coordinator), Charles University (Czech Republic) and Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Germany). 

The aim of the DOCMAN project  is to provide benchmarks for management competences, which are vitally needed for service delivery in complex and challenging social and health care settings.  Three online modules will be developed focusing on the competencies needed in social and health care management. Each module covers 10 ECTS credits. The modules are Innovation and change management, Designing and Dev​eloping Health and Social Care services, and Capacity building and Service Delivery in Health and Social Care. The modules will be based on research findings and competency framework created during the first year of the project.
