Programme

Exchanging messages in the new networked business environments:
- business etiquette
- cultural aspects related to written business communication
- written corporate communication: emails, inquiries, quotations, orders (shipping and invoicing) complaints, reminders, collection letters, sales letters; terms of trade in international business.

The focus of the course will be on the written aspect of business communication.

Assessment

Course assignments. Evaluation: 0-5.

Level 1
The student has acquired basic written skills in business communication, is able to use the acquired business terminology, models and processes in basic business situations, and is familiar with business etiquette.

Level 3
The student has acquired good written skills in business communication, is able to apply the acquired business terminology, models and processes in varied business situations, and is familiar with business etiquette.

Level 5
The student has acquired excellent written skills in business communication, and is able to diversely apply the acquired business terminology and processes in demanding business situations, and is familiar with business etiquette.

Terms of cancellation

If the order/registration is cancelled no later than 14 days before the stated start date, there are no cancellation charges. If the order/registration is cancelled up to 14 days before the stated start date, a 50% cancellation charge applies. If the order/registration is cancelled up to 48 hours before the start date (or not cancelled at all), the full price will be charged. Cancellations must be made in writing.
