Degree Programme in Interior Design International Master of Interior Architectural Design, IMIAD
The IMIAD (International Master of Interior Architectural Design) is a special post-graduate Master of Arts programme created especially for interior architects, architects or designers. The IMIAD qualification is recognised by all the partner institutions (HfT, ITU, ECA, SUPSI, LAMK).
The programme aims to increase professional skills in the field of interior architecture and to create an international network through the same education. The programme is created internationally similar which encourages students to explore methods in research and developing in the field of international network.
The programme is organized by Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Design and Fine Arts with international partner institutions. Studies in Finland are carried out along with work, studies abroad are full-time studies. Programme is taught in Finnish, exchange periods in English.

Design Business and Design Research
Master of Culture and Arts, 60 credits, 1.5 years
The programme aims to increase professional knowledge of design, usability and material research. Students come familiar with the possibilities of future materials and new work methods. The programme also explores design based business and the possibilities for design as a strategic tool and competitive weapon.
The programme aims to increase the students professional skills so they are able to work as experts, developers and leaders in the field. Studies are organized on a part-time basis and can be carried out along with work.
