IT Services

Lahti University of Applied Sciences provides all their students with a username and password. With these you can use our computer facilities that are available at faculties and libraries for free of charge throughout your studies. Please note that you have to provide your own printing paper.

In addition to this, each student will receive their own email address which they can also access throughout the studies. The service works over the internet regardless of your location.

The login details and the email address will be issued to all new students upon their arrival.

On IT-services webpages you will find information about the school network (AD) and printing, as well as plenty of information on how to use applications and devices.

Personal computer/mobile device

Courses at Lahti UAS are delivered flexibly, utilising digital systems. Various electronic platforms and materials are used in the learning process and course contents. Students connect to the learning environment using their own mobile device, such as a laptop or a tablet with a keyboard. Lahti UAS provides a wireless network as well as support on using your device. Access to the school's devices can be arranged if necessary, however we recommend using your own device to ensure a smooth progression. Each faculty has its own recommendations on mobile devices, please see below for details.

The recommendations on devices for design and media students will be confirmed in the autumn, and students are not required to bring their own devices at the start of the term.
